Trucks love to haul. Diggers love to dig. Shopping carts enthusiastically troll grocery store aisles collecting tasty products. Houses cheerfully care for their inhabitants as they amble about the land while garbage trucks chomp happily on debris, knowing that their job is important and very much appreciated. Everyone, everything has an essence that makes them feel unique, focused and confident as they wander.

These thoughts are the foundation of my work. The characters that live in my paintings stand proud and tall because they have found their way and are content to be who they are. They capture those exceptional days when everything feels just right and we bounce down the street exuberantly.
