Jessica Dachers informal and whimsical world of rolling houses, stilt buses, and marching characters explore the role of innocence and spontaneity in the everyday. Using bold color, lighthearted shapes, and wandering scribbles, she links imagination with oddly familiar settingsgiving her audience a new perspective on their daily routines.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Dacher continued her studies at the Art Institute of Florence before making her home in Northern California. Her work has been shown at the Lab, SFMOMA Artists Gallery and Fivepoints Arthouse in San Francisco, Blankspace Gallery and Pro Arts in Oakland and Sebastopol Center for the Arts.
