Jessica Dacher's informal and whimsical world of rolling houses, stilt buses, and marching characters explore the role of innocence and spontaneity in the everyday. Using bold color, lighthearted shapes, and wandering scribbles, she links imagination with oddly familiar settings--giving her audience a new perspective on their daily routines.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Dacher continued her studies at the Art Institute of Florence before making her home in Northern California. Her work has been shown the Lab, Tinhorn Gallery and Studio Gallery in San Francisco as well as San Francisco City Hall, Sebastopol Center for the Arts and Pro Arts in Oakland.
